There are 2 basic options:

1. Scan Only

• DEXA Scan only (no discussion or consult)
• Results are emailed to you within 2 hours
• Single Scan $90
• 2 Pack $150 ($75 per scan)
• 3 Pack $180 ($60 per scan)

2. Scan and Weight Loss Consult

• Additional cost of consult $100 ($69 rebate from Medicare)

If you had a scan and consult the fees would be:

• Single scan $90 + $100 consult = $190
  ($69 rebate from Medicare)
• 2 Pack $150 + $100 consult = $250
  ($69 rebate from Medicare) (the next scan is paid for)
• 3 Pack $180 + $100 consult = $280
  ($69 rebate from Medicare) (the next 2 scans are paid for)

The consult includes:

• Result discussion
• Classification in terms of fat mass
• Cardiovascular risk implications of current fat levels
• Calculation of target fat mass
• Discussion of calorie requirements for fat loss and maintenance
• General weight loss discussion... making a plan
• Bone density discussion
